Nature

Crete, as the southernmost of the Greek islands, is also one of the warmest areas of Greece. It has a Mediterranean climate with mild, rainy winters and hot, sunny summers. However, due to the mountainous terrain, there are significant differences between the different areas. Crete is particularly rich in plant life, and a good number of these plant species grow only here on the island.

How to get to Crete

By plane or ferry?

Crete is not only the largest Greek island, but also the southernmost, and is located on the border of the Aegean and the Libyan Sea. It's still an island, though, so we have two options for getting here - by air or by boat.

Whether by plane or ferry... we are on the island of Crete. And we have several options to transport ourselves further, to travel and discover the beauty of this unique Greek island. We can choose between public bus transport, rental car (motorcycle, bicycle) or taxi. A boat trip is also a wonderful experience.
