Greek Wars

While in the Greco-Persian wars the Greek city-states fought against a common enemy, they did not shy away from disputes with each other. The term 'Greek wars' can thus be used to refer to individual battles or conflicts that aimed to change the power structure in Greece. The states of Sparta, Athens or for example Thebes often played a significant role in these wars.
