The peaceful, mostly rocky beach of Oasis is located in the northeastern part of the Greek island of Rhodes, about 9 km south of the capital city of Rhodes. The hallmark of the beach is a bar built right in the rock.
Oasis Beach is located on the rocky coast of Kalithea, at the northern tip of Rhodes, between the other popular tourist resorts of Koskinou and Faliraki. The beach is situated near the former thermal baths of Kalithea, which used to benefit from the healing effects of the local thermal springs. Unlike the famous Kallithea beach, Oasis Beach is smaller and much quieter, similar to the neighbouring Kokkina Beach.
However, there is also a part of the mostly rocky beach that is covered with fine, golden sand, which children love to play in. Swimming here is not ideal, mainly because of the many large rocks that make it difficult to enter the water. But don't worry, even children can easily refresh themselves in the sea at the coast, as the rocky surface creates small lagoons, where the water is very shallow and warm. On the other hand, snorkelling and diving enthusiasts will be particularly excited about the sea, as the water is crystal clear and rich in underwater life.
Oasis is a beautiful beach, simply equipped and not crowded. Sun loungers and umbrellas are located both on the sandy part of the beach and right on the rocks and there are also showers and toilets available for visitors. Another unique feature of the Oasis Beach is the bar located right in the rocks, which also plays pleasant beach music and sometimes even has a DJ.
