Echidna

In Greek mythology, the Echidna represents a being who is half beautiful woman and half serpent. She was the daughter of Callirhoe and Chrysaor, and her brother, the giant Geryon, was killed by Heracles.

Echidna lived among the Arim in a deep cave. She married Typhon and together they had many offspring (Kerberos, Orthos, Hydra, Chimera, Sphinx, the Nemean Lion, Skylla and the Crommyon Swine). She died by being killed in her sleep by the hundred-eyed giant Argos.

Interestingly, she fed on humans.
