Thaumás

In Greek mythology, Thaumás represents the god of natural phenomena at sea. He was the son of Pontus (god of the seas) and Gaia (goddess of the earth).

Thaumas is known for frequently appearing to people. He married Élektra (daughter of the titan Okean) and together they had four daughters named Iris (the beautiful goddess of the rainbow and messenger of the gods) and three Harpies (goddess of storms). Even the Harpies used to be beautiful like their sister Iris, but they gradually turned into ugly creatures who punished criminals and very often took revenge.
