Néreus

In Greek mythology, Nereus is a sea god who was the son of Pontus (god of the deep sea) and Gaia (goddess of the earth). According to other sources, he was the son of the titan Okeanos and the titaness Thetis.

He was able to change his form and he could even divine, although he did so only under compulsion. He was friendly to people. He married his sister Doris.
